When thinking of a quick home renovation or a makeover the bathroom is not a space that springs to the top of our wish list. That spot is often reserved for the kitchen or the bedroom. Get past those two and you tend to focus on the living room or even the dining area before you work your way towards the kitchen.
A green roof though is neither revolutionary nor is it anything incredibly complicated to work with. The idea has been around for more than half a century and for some reason or the other it has simply not caught on as much as it should have. But the last decade has seen a surge in green sustainable home design and with it interest in green roof designs has peaked.
With a simple change in height of the level the living area stands out from the foyer on one side and the dining area and kitchen on the other. Small staircases connect these various levels and a neutral color scheme ensures that there is a sense of continuity despite the clear demarcation of individual spaces.
